Within the Region 6 service area (Fayette, Westmoreland, Somerset, Greene, Washington & Allegheny Counties), we strive to provide interesting perspective snapshots from emergency scenes. From fires to vehicle accidents, we cover a range of incidents throughout the year.

Every piece of fire apparatus has some sort of history. Whether it's a new piece that was spec'd for the needs of a department or a piece that's been with multiple companies throughout its time in the fire service, every Pumper, Truck, Rescue Squad has a story behind it.

Sunday, July 10th, 2022 marks the start of the 84th Annual Fayette County Firefighters' Convention hosted by the Fairchance Volunteer Fire Department! We'll be in attendance on Friday and Saturday, so keep an eye out for any photos that may be taken! Click the link below for more!

What is Region 6 Photography?
Region 6 Photography was originally created as an Instagram account under the name "AKelley Fire Photography." I utilized the page to share photos and videos of apparatus from around Fayette County in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Overtime, the account expanded to both Facebook and YouTube, and a few other members were added to the team. At the end of 2021, a group decision was made to change the name of the page to "Region 6 Photography" to specify the main six counties we cover within the SWPA region, as well as an all inclusive name for each member of this organization. 

​Region 6 Photography strives to work along side other organizations and individual photographers to publish the most accurate and high-quality coverage of incidents in the SWPA area.
